So Nate turns 6 weeks old today! I can't believe how FAST time has flown by and how much he has grown since he was born. Daddy goes back to work tomorrow for his first day back to work... Nate and I are so sad! I cry everytime I think about it, even now just typing it up... this time has been so special and we have had such a blast bonding and being a new family!

Nathan's Great Grandma Smith came to visit with Nonny, Aunt Minda, and Uncle Sam. This was Nate's first time to meet his Great Grandma Smith! Below is a photo of Nate with me (his mommy), Nonny, and Great Grandma - so four generations in one pic:

Here are four generations of hands in one photo, I love this picture!

Here's a pic of Nate growing up, he was playing with mommy here on the boppy:

I love this picture as it shows his chubby cheeks, man I kiss those things a million times a day!! But one day, well actually yesterday, I was playing with him and kissing those sweet cheeks when he spit up, and let's just say my mouth was a little too close and became the target for the spit up... ewwwww! Just one of the many wonderful things I've learned while being a new mommy - spit up happens at any time!

Nate and daddy playing again:

I put Nate's wrist rattles and foot rattles on him, while he was moving all around on his back... he was making pretty noises!

Nate in his swim trunks and matching shirt, he was getting ready to go out on the boat for the first time! Thanks Auntie Heather for the outfit!

Here's Nate on the boat, he did this the whole time - sleep!

Here he is with mommy, and still fast asleep, I don't think he even knew we weren't on land anymore.

Here we are testing out his life jacket at home to make sure it really worked... of course this is the only place he actually used it, we weren't about to put him in the lake this early... we were just making sure it worked "in case".

We loved being able to go out to the lake with him, that we went for a "sunrise cruise" the next morning at 5 am, we wanted to beat the sun and the heat! Nate got to go in his pajama's and he slept the whole time again!

Here's daddy and Nate, with Nate still in his pj's!

The water was so smooth this time of day! We wish it were always this smooth, that makes the best tubing water!

Here's daddy and Nate working out some tummy troubles:
Daddy got to add cabinets to his garage, we are so proud of him... but even though he just did this and this photo was just taken, the garage has been even more updated since then, daddy added 3 ceiling fans he found for free on Craigslist and then he found his collection of police patches and he put them all up too, I will say the garage - I mean "man cave" looks sharp, good job daddy!

He is so adorable! Of course! I'm glad you posted a pic of what Amy and I got him! So cute! I hope he gets lots of use out of it this summer! I think Nate looks like a good combo of both of you...he has your cheeks and mouth! I can#t wait to see him and of course you in person...I hope soon!
