Nate will be 4 months old this Tuesday, September 30th. We are just loving every minute of our precious baby!! He is growing every day and doing new and fun things! I decided to let him write this post, to share it from his view (not really but we'll see how it goes).
From Nate:
Momma and daddy can't wait to find out how much I weigh at my4 month appt this Tuesday, Mom is guessing 16 or so pounds and dad guesses 114 lbs, no really mom just asked him. I don't care just as long as mommy and daddy can still pick me up to hold and cuddle me.
Here is a pic of me getting ready for night-night, I was very sleepy but still so sweet for mommy:
Okay, here I am doing my new thing, left foot in left hand while I eat my right hand. EVERY single time I am on my back this is exactly what happens, every time!!
I love to play in my "Johnny Jump Up"... I don't really know the real name, that's just what mommy calls it, cuz that's what it was when she was little. She forgot to turn the photo, so it's sideways and she can't figure out how to change it or delete it since it got in this post... next time she will do better and flip it before putting it in a post.

Mom tried out my high chair to see how I'd do, she was impressed with how well and how long I stayed in there and I showed her that I really liked it. Mom loves it cause she can place me in my high chair close to the kitchen and she watches me as she does dishes or cooks dinner or cleans. Oh and the bib is just to collect drool, not cause I eat food, hahaha. I have tons of drool!
Me again in my big boy high chair:
Mommy finally had a genius move and placed some toys on the high chair tray for me to play with! After she put the toys on the tray for me, I stared at them then grabbed the zebra one and pulled it to my mouth, now folks I have grabbed at things and wrapped my hands around toys because they were in the way but not specifically to grab something and pull it to me, so another 1st... the second one while in high chair (number 1 being in the high chair itself for the first time). Then after I grabbed the toy and brought it closer, I really wanted to show off, so I opened wide and started chomping on the toy, another 1st!! I have never put something in my mouth before other than my hands... oh yeah and my foot.

Okay, here I am doing my new thing, left foot in left hand while I eat my right hand. EVERY single time I am on my back this is exactly what happens, every time!!
But, this time I decided to add my foot to my mouth, so here I am eating my foot! Mommy laughed for a while at this!
No real reason for this pic, mom just thought it was cute of me, I was ready for my night-night feeding here, come on mom, I'm hungry:

We went to the lake again, something mom says is cheap and very enjoyable so we go all the time now. Also, with it being cooler we really enjoy taking a picnic out to the lake and puttering around for awhile while daddy fishes sometimes and I enjoy it all!
Here I am happy while waiting for daddy to park the truck and trailer, this is what I do while mom backs the boat off the trailer.
Daddy and I have this new game, he suctions my pacifier to my cheek and I try to get it with my mouth... I can never get it, but I sure try hard. Here's a picture of it stuck to my face:

Smiling while jumping... okay actually I more so spin around. My left foot is my preference right now so I use it to push off with and it makes me jump a tiny bit but spin around more, so I spin for now, I'll grow into it more later:
Another smile for mom and the camera:
So, Mommy was on her way home from work to see me and while she was at a stop light, completely stopped... minding her own business a Tundra (big truck, just the same as daddy's) smashed into the back of her car making her strike the car in front of her and that car hit a 4th car in front of them. Below are photos of mom's car now, it's hurting now. Daddy thinks it will take over a month to get fixed, we'll find out more tomorrow. When dad and I went to go pick mom up cause the car got towed, I decided to smile for her a bunch. I even laughed out loud repeatedly for the first time when she was talking silly, it made her cry, but a happy cry. I made her day better after such a bad day with the car wreck. I even liked laughing out loud over and over for her.
Here's mommy's car with the boo-boos:
We went to the car pound so daddy could take the pics of the boo-boos.
This is the back bumper, the screw that held the Tundra's front license plate on got stuck, you can even see the entire outline of the license plate, it is imprinted on mom's back bumper:
