Man, it feels like it's been awhile... I guess going back to work and being busy makes it harder to keep up with posts on the blog and updating things... so pardon this blog post - I will show random snipits of our life through photos and give a little update through the description on the pics:

Here's Nathan meeting Tatum Renee for the first time... she is 2 days old here. She is the daughter of our sweet dear friends, Holley & Chris, and these two babies don't know it yet but they will be great friends!! Tatum is just so perfect and adorable! I can't believe how big Nate is next to her, when I first saw her I was thinking she's so small... was Nate ever this small... and man how Nate has grown up so much!
Here she is, all beautiful!!

In this pic Nate's got a look on his face like, "mom what are you doing to me, and what are you putting on me??" HAHA

I placed Nate on our front porch swing cause he looked so cute this day - he was working it - so I had to grab some pics!

Another one:

Chad was getting ready for our family reunion trip the week before last by getting the boat cleaned out and when I went out to talk to him, there was this GORGEOUS rainbow... it was breathtaking! It was huge and covered the whole sky!! Then as I stood there amazed and staring at it I realized there was a 2nd one right behind it, lighter and harder to see in the pic, but right there larger than the 1st one I saw and it too covered the whole sky right next to the brighter one... I just had to take a photo! The photo does not do it justice, it just had to be seen in person... look at how small Chad and the boat look - that help's give an idea of how big this rainbow was, and my photo only has like 1/4th of it in the pic. Thank you GOD for this awesome reminder!!

Nate's started this pose for every feeding, it is so incredibly precious!! I love how he crosses his legs and holds his own hands!!

We had a Smith Family Bridal Shower for Nate's Aunt Minda:

Mom and I had fun setting up the decorations, the chocolate covered strawberries are missing from this pic, grandma was melting the chocolate and covering the strawberries when I took the pic, they were YUMMY!

We put their wedding invitation up for display, so cute!

Here's the Bride To Be right before a bridal shower game!!

We went to this really yummy authentic Chinese resturant (Amanda should know since she lives in Taiwan) anyway it was DELICOUS!! The resturant is DinHo, and it was great food!

They served orange slices for dessert, so cousin Raven stuck the whole piece in her mouth... silly girl! :)

Playing a bridal shower game with the family:

Cousin Amy with their youngest daughter Zoe:
Cousin Raven holding Nate, she was wonderful with him!! He loved her, he was either flirting with her or she's just that good with babies!

Nate and I were going to meet daddy for dinner since he was at work... but I couldn't get Nate to stay awake, I thought it was so funny and cute, I just had to take some pics:

Still sleeping on momma:

Nate got to meet his uncle-to-be this past weekend at our family reunion... it was great we got to give him all sorts of firsts, like his first Reeces chocolate candy as seen below... it was so fun I'd just walk up to him with some candy or treat and say eat this then he would try it and tell us if he liked it or not. More on the family reunion later since for some reason my computer won't upload any more pics to this post...

Here's Uncle Sam and Nonny is in the background playing with Nate... this is Sam's serious face or football face:

Us taking Lawrance out for his first time on a personal boat... we had so much fun! Here he is with Amanda:
Last week we took Nate to the lake for sunset, it was so beautiful and very cool out that night... anyway here is a photo of Nates very first time in the lake ever, he went in to meet daddy while momma stayed on the boat incase he didn't like it, but he seemed to enjoy it:
He didn't stay in long at all so here he is on the boat with momma, he just smiled the whole time!
