My Womb, God's Workshop

Baby Nate - So we went to our 1st appt for the week and we learned it will be our last appt... they are inducing me this Friday! God's workshop where he has been creating Nathan in my womb is done, and we will soon hold our miracle He created in me!! "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb". Psalm 139:13 The amniotic fluid went down again - it went to 6.37 and doc says that's the reason for the induction. Also, the sonogram tech saw how big baby Nate is and he is a whopping 8lbs 8oz's & 20.6 inches... WOW! Of course we'll see when he's born what he really is, the sono can be wrong. So we are going in this Friday, May 30th to get induced... hopefully Nathan will enter the world soon, as I'm scared of a long labor. For those of you who don't know, Chad's sister Tiffany was killed in the line of duty and May 30th marks the 9 year anniversary to the day since she died. I am still amazed and in shock that Nate is going to be here so soon! It's just under a month away from his original due date of June 25th. As I am sitting here typing this Nathan has the hiccups, he gets the hiccups at least 4 times a day, poor baby, he always gets the hiccups and my whole belly shakes with him.

Chad's dad- Chad's dad goes in this morning for his open heart surgery where they will remove the tumor that is in his heart. He will then go to ICU for the next 5 to 7 days for recovery. We are glad the doctor's caught this rare tumor and are able to do the surgery on him, but we are sad he will not be there with us at Nathan's birth. But we know he is with us in thoughts and heart!!

Chad - Chad has come down with a cold and is very sick, he is not feeling well at all and he has been such a wonderful husband by taking care of my every need while on bedrest these past 3 weeks AND such a great son to his parents while they are experiencing such rough times with his dad in the hospital. He has already gone this A.M. (he left at 4:30am) to take his mom to the hospital and will be there with her while his dad is in surgery. He will have a hard time resting and healing being spread so thin around with taking care of me and them.

Please continue to keep us in your prayers, specifically for my father in law's surgery today, Chad's health and that he can get well soon for the birth of our son, that the induction goes smooth with a good labor and recovery, AND of course for our son to be healthy when he arrives!!

We will post pics of our baby boy as soon as we can!!! Can't wait!!

pray that your father in law's surgery went well today and that he is resting comfortably in ICU tonight. Pray that Nate is also resting comfortably his last few days before he starts his new adventure.
